Our green waste service:          For the open / closed status call 027 476 3306

Central Otago Property Services in conjunction with their Native Plant Nursery are attempting to provide a fair and reasonable service for disposal of green waste.

 

How we propose this will work,

Domestic green waste will be accepted at our Dumbarton site (5 Km South of Roxburgh) as of today.

 

 Staying within the councils green waste fees we will exchange:

1 cubic metre load of green waste (standard 6 x 4 trailer) for $7.50 and in return you will receive 1 NZ Native plant of your choice or a bag of mulch to that value.

2 cubic metre load of green waste (standard 10 x 4 trailer) for $15.00 and in return you will receive 2 NZ Native plants of your choice or 2 bags of mulch to that value.

3 cubic metre load of green waste (standard 3m truck deck) for $22.50 and in return you will receive 3 NZ Native plants of your choice or three bags of mulch to that value.

(For two cubic metre loads or over you can have a combination of plants and mulch if you like)

 

We will only accept domestic green waste and there will be zero tolerance for attempts to dispose of other wastes including processed wood material.

The minimum fee for green waste disposal is $7.50 (1 plant or bag of mulch exchanged)

At this stage we will endeavor to operate 7 days - between 9am and 7pm

The collected green waste will over time be processed into a useable product.
